thinking how disappointing it is that my ASL Class is canceled for rest of the months due to too few students. Gotta wait till March

I am so sorry. well you ll have a brief class which is on sat night. :giggle: oh also you will have a short one friday evening.

Hope you will get one in March. :fingersx:

Oy, I can't stop shaking my head.

I had this tradition when I was in a relationship with my son's father and it's DEFINITELY biting me in the fanny (_Y_) Every Father's Day, my son wears a brand new shirt that states how much he loves his Daddy. Harmless and sappy right? o_O

Wrong. My ex has been dropping off my son in the morning before he heads for work and oh guess what, my son wears a "My Daddy is Number one" type of shirt every single time. What the heck? I pretend not to notice but how childish is that, the game is painfully obvious and I secretly scoff when I take off my son's coat.

I have just one shirt that is mommy inspired (which I bought of course) but I can't imagine making my son wear "My mom rules!" when I drop him off at the "in-laws". Where's the common sense in that :P

Blah.. need to take a chill pill, if this is the climax of my divorce drama then I guess I lucked out right? =)

 I am at a loss what to say.

But I have to tell you one thing at the bold and red you wrote, i did giggle. =^.x.^=

That's a bummer!! I got an email from the instructor of my class that starts tomorrow night and he says that class is still on and we have a very large class and to be prepared. He also sent me another email that wasn't sent to the others saying he was looking forward to having me in class since I will be his first and only deaf person. Everyone else is a family member of hoh people. He is planning on making videos of each class and making sure I get them, and will send me all of the power point presentations he does and copies of all of his notes as well as the materials for everyone.

:) I hope so, like I said... I am fortunate that I only have to put up with the "small stuff" :hmm: I simply need to grin and bear it. AD is a good outlet for my "vents" though ;) and it seems that I am not alone.

on the other hand, maybe you should sweat over small stuffs? LOL don't want him to do something bigger to grab your attention

how i had an interpreter that told me I was too "ASL" for her yesterday. it was a drag.

noob interpreters suck

How many days a week is your class? I think ASL class is so much fun. I only took it at the college and it goes fast and class every weekday, which really helps to help your mind rehearse. And don't forget all the nights in the mirror rehearsing- it really helps :)

Class is once a week for 9 weeks. Offered by our local Dear Service Center here in West Palm Beach, FL. They have it at least 2 times a years sometimes 4 times.

Am thinking I had a very trying afternoon after a good morning and an even worse evening. Home life sucks, some people on AD suck and I'm giving it up for the night. Be back tomorrow and hopefully it will be a better day.

Good night Kristina. Usually it is always better after a bad day.

I worry about this when we mainstream Miss Kat. I want someone who isn't still learning! Why would I want them to learn on my kid's educational "dime". Forget that!

However, lemme clarify - the interp i had was an older lady, learned interpreting in the 80's when SEE was the "biggest thing".. ...to flop.

what? why??

I am be insulting donkeys but......MY EX IS AN ASS!!!! Since I took all of my son's clothes with me when we left. He says that we can have our own set of clothes for Demetri. My son is going to be 13 in August and he already is 135lbs. and 5'6". He doesn't care that I cannot afford to get Demetri an entire wardrobe of clothes. & my parents are retired, so I can't just ask them to provide him with one (though I know that they would in a heartbeat)

 I agree with you here. I guess the former cop dislikes having someone break free from his tight grip, hence the childish games. He is seven years older than me (30 years old), you'd think he would be a little more mature?

 I understand that completely, my ex is 8yrs older than me. LOL age & maturity DO NOT go hand in hand. And sometimes people in positions of authority can be the hardest to deal with.
