What are you thinking about? Part II

I'm feeling rather foolish for asking a professor for help today about a fairly complicated homework assignment and silently crying. He didn't realize I was crying until he ended his explanation. I left without saying a word. There have been several suicides in the last month, and the mood of the campus seems to be mourning a bit including me. I went for a run in the sun today and I'm feeling better though.

Stress must be hard on you. And yes, professors tend to make us feel intimidated especially when we are deaf. I know how you feel.

Shel, men don't think about the security issue of running alone. I don't run alone either, especially on streets where a car could stop near me.

Yea..there has been too many rapes and murders here in the DC/MD/VA areas of women joggers. No thank you. I will pay for a gym.

Funny this came up. I was at the gym earlier looking at people on treadmills wondering why people pay $220 a month to run inside. It was mid 70's and sunny today.

I could see it in bad weather places I guess
I do my cardio outdoors in nice weather and weights at the gym. :) I do agree that some people don't have safe places. I just make sure that I am out only in daylight. :)

I wasn't referring to everyone. Where I live is safe and we have cushioned jogging pathes. Day care and allergies make sense here though. I can see for safety and weather in other places

Ahhh yes, we have one of those for a very long time. I've never actually used it though.

used it? which one? the jar or Dry N' Store? and you really should use it daily before you sleep. Try it.

My hubby just told me that he is sooo sick and tired of hearing about Obama and the Heathcare plan. I told him that Alldeaf seems to be bombared with the same thing too and he was like "Tell my man Alex to ban any talk of Obama and the Healthcare plan." LOL...

what? $220 a month? no f'ing way. Lot of gyms around here is around $20-50 a month. There are fancier gyms that are multi-floors and have bunch of amenities - like NYSC.

He's not the only one!

I used to pay $120 a month for a fancy gym/resort near my work (near the bar we went for Happy Hour) before i bought my house. Damn, I miss that place! It was heaven!

I second that motion!!

Have avoided posting in them anymore. Now its getting old! Same ol'. Different threads but same topic!

I ordered a 7 inch netbook today, as my husband told me just to buy what I wanted for my wedding anniversary.

This cost $128 with free shipping. I was amazed at how cheap. It has a built in E-Reader among other features.

Plus a major high point for me is that on the show Chuck, he kept getting his assignments on one of these this week, and then it self destructed.

lol true but there is a mugging issue. lot of runners carry ipod. they would steal it. at my college - we do get at least 5 campus-wide email alert about assault/mugging incident on college student per semester.

Yeah it's a "sports performance center" Alot of high tech stuff. But I see a bunch of women come in and run on the treadmill then leave. Crazy

lol wow I wouldn't pay that much but my brother did for a few months. It's not surprising to be there for a few hours a day cuz it's got everything.

It's probably going to be a popular topic for a few years....I don't see it just going away like alot of other stuff

The jar. I'm curious as to how it will be beneficial. What exactly will it do?

Congratulations, Botti, on both your new netbook and your anniversary! :) I'm sure you'll love your new computer. :)
