I hear ya. My ankle has been acting weird for a couple of years now. I broke it when I was 16 (almost 21yrs ago) and then 3 yrs ago it started to swell and hurt like hell. My orthopedist can't explain it.

Think the pain might be related to weather temp?

I broke my ankle in three places when I was 17 and I don't feel pain now but I wonder if I might have to brace myself for that possibility someday :hmm:

Don't remember doing anything to it to cause it to swell up. :(

Could be that with the storms Florida is having it does it. I know my foot that I sprained is swollen again after 4 months of being fine. Also, my knee will not let me put any weight on it at all. I actually had to use that electric cart at WalMart today.

When I broke my ankle, I went to the ER and the Dr.s took one look at it and said "it's badly sprained. Wear this (an air cast brace) and use the crutches for 4 weeks...then you should be fine." Barely even looking at my x-rays.
4 weeks come and I try and found out really fast that I couldn't walk on it. and I used the brace & crutches till the end of the summer.

4 years later I re-injured it on the job and found out (through my current orthopedist) that I had fractured the socket of my ankle. And had I actually walked on it as the ER Dr.s told me it would have fused, and I wouldn't have been able to walk properly on it.
 
I sprained my left ankle back in 2003 .. and the stupid socket is still stuck I can't even move it around but I can walk just fine but hell.. one day it's a possiblity I wil have surgery to get that damn ankle fixed.. but for now in long run.. I'm ok for now :roll:

*winces* Ouch!

Fracture usually takes 8 weeks to heal properly.

I know this is kind of off the point but I've discovered that I don't like to ice skate because I could feel the metal in my ankle pressing on the skate.
 
Thinking of a friend of friend getting kicked out of Barnes and Nobles for putting all the bibles in the fiction section.

Not me! I work the entire weekend! I want Monday to come for Spring Break! I'm going to pretend that I am in Cancun!:P

No wonder, spring break that makes sense to love Monday and can't wait :lol: I didn't want to rush Monday back to waking up early.

Maybe we can just push Monday here faster in PA! :lol: I have to work 2 12s and between the 2, we turn the clock forward, soooo an hour less sleep!:pissed:
