Well, it's saturday afternoon here, so I'm parked in front of the Laptop with a cup of tea playing Skyrim, having spent the past 5 hours doing laundry (2x loads), making tonights dinner in the slow cooker (beef casserole - and very nice it'll be too), brewing a doubtless godawful-tasting batch of my homebrew beer, and having a bath...

Wirelessly posted

Texting , listening to the radio and relaxing after my Zumba class :)

Arguing with daughter about why I won't take her and her friend to the Y. They were up till 2am and are going to Scarowinds (Carowinds amusement park decorates for Halloween) all night tonight. They need rest. She's used to being spoiled.

Can relate to this....:giggle:...here's one of mine...last year, my 16 yr old was "in love"...and at the time, we were having a Tropical Storm (rain, lightning and very windy)...he "said/told" me (not asked) that he and his girlfriend were going to the Beach....:hmm:...so of course, I said NO...weather is too frightful, wait another day....and that's when the argument(s) started...'course he towers over me at 6 ft. ...to my 5ft./2''...and being the smart alek...said..."you don't know what it is to be in love!"....well....after a month or so...the girl was history...and of course, another one came along.....

Just consolidated a bunch of to-do lists onto a spreadsheet and printed it out. Did a little prioritizing first, but most of it is "whenever".

Waiting for my neighbor to come back from the hardware store with yet another piece to fix the dripping faucet he's working on for me. I said you might as well just buy a new faucet (which my landlord has already agreed to pay for). He said, nah, that's too easy. I figured he was enjoying the challenge.

Unlike plumbers we've had in here before to fix this darn faucet. One wouldn't even look at it. Said it was too old and he didn't have the parts - how would he know that until he figured out what parts he needed since, I think at that time it only needed a new washer (which the next plumber put it and the thing lasted at least several months before it started dripping again).

Going to watch football at my moms. My precious goddaughter will be there so I get double loving today. Go 49ers!!!!!!!
