He is Siamese, no clue where I got Himalayan from. Someone in this group has one. Can you tell I'm a dog person:giggle:

I knew a woman that had a black female cat that mated with black cat and one of the kitten looked like a pure Siamese cat , right down to the crooked tail . There where no Siamese cats around to mate with. I heard black cats have Siamese in them .

I had a solid black Oriental Short-Hair cat. That's the breed name. They look like solid-color Siamese cats; that is, their faces and body shapes look like Siamese. They also "talk" like Siamese cats. Orientals and Siamese are my favorites.

It was very strange seeing one kitten not black but very Siamese looking .
I wish I knew where that woman is. I lost contact with her from moving around so much. I hope she is still alive b/c just about everyone I knew in California is dead.

Multi-tasking. Getting ready for colder weather, AND preparing for this weekend's trip to Palatine. Still got things I need to get done, and hopefully I can get them done before Thursday. :P

have you got any feet and hands left........they were bred to protect temples and took their jobs seriously,People who broke in lucky come out alive:wave:

my husbands cat showed his love by grabing your feet once shoes off you were fair game
 
Calling everybody to cancel utilities and start new ones for the new house. We're moving just far away enough that only the electric is the same, so was able to just transfer that one over. Makes for a loooonnggg time on the phone! Still have to do waste disposal but I give up for today.

Ah, that reminds me-- I need to contact Comcast to suspend my cable service until I find a new place. That'll be on my to do list this week.
 
Just getting started with my day, and figuring out what needs to be done.
 
I am making a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast.
 
going for pre op check tomorrow not sure have Dettol bath before after or both...so many germs in our hospitals
 
I am organizing my unit, and continuing preparation for this weekend. Pretty much got everything I need done for this weekend, but there's still a couple of things left to do before the list is complete. Shouldn't take long to do that.
 
Reupholstering my dining room chairs for the move. They are about 20 years old and in a very sorry-looking state. I spent 90 dollars today for new fabric. Getting the old stuff off is the easy part. Putting the new fabric on ... Umm... I finished one and 3 corners are perfect. One not so much. Once I get the hang of this I have 5 more to go.
 
I will post a before-and-after once I get that corner fixed.
 
The One on left is the old one. Wear and tear, dirt, and most of all, cats. The one I just did is on the right. I'm sure the next one will be better! Learn as I go. Not doing the back side. The cats use those as scratching posts! ImageUploadedByAllDeaf1414523459.680869.jpg
