What are you doing right now? Part II

Going to get apple and orange juice, and hope that halts the leaky nose in time for this weekend, as it's 32 right now.

Starting to make my plans for this weekend.... with a trip to Brookfield tomorrow, and I had planned on going to Mt. Prospect on Monday, but forgot that it's a federal holiday, so I'll hold off on that. :hmm: Maybe a trip to Oak Lawn? Haven't been there in a few years.

Rewriting my resume with the help I got from a resume reviewer the company provided. I hate doing resumes and interviews!!

Getting ready to head out the door for a nice walk. Guess what, the sun is out, it's not snowing, and not 40 below zero. Better get out there quick!

Will be heading to the library soon (and work on my job hunting there) after I make sure I have everything I need and then open more windows while the temps are in the 40's. Hopefully this will help get the air in the house cleared out (though I don't notice the smell much since I've gotten used to it).

Ha, this is funny; just back from my walk, half way through the sun went in, it started to snow and the wind is blowing so hard it's dangerous to be out there and feels like zero. That is one of those "if you don't like the weather, wait a minute". Unbelievable the change so quickly!

Been there before with the rain..... rain suddenly starts, and it starts pouring buckets. Ended up with my hair plastered to my head, and it wasn't funny then, but is now, because I was completely soaked head to toe from that sudden rain, which we weren't expecting for several more hours.

Getting my day started, and also I need to stop at Jewel for something to drink before I head to the BNSF Metra. Will look at the times on the bus to Union Station, since I'm taking the train back home.

Now on my way to Union Station. Got my drinks, and also picked up something to eat, as well. Now to take a look at BNSF trains to Brookfield and Brookfield Zoo.

Singing Happy Birthday to myself.

Stopped at a local library branch to recharge my phone and MiFi, and to get caught up on some laptop work. :)

Say...... I just realized I can get both Adler AND Shedd on Monday. Now that would make a fun holiday. :D I'd have to leave early, though.

Making sure I have what I need...... and considering where to go for lunch after the museum is finished. There are a few places right along Michigan I'd like to give a try, and see how they are. I just may do that today.

Starting to make my way to the Chicago River Museum, but first a stop to get something to drink.

Well, well, well. Turns out that the Chicago River Museum is seasonal only. They're closed for the winter, and won't open again until May. Now why is that on the free museum days if they're closed for the winter?

Crocheting while waiting to go to the later Mass after daughter gets home.

Turns out there's another free museum day right nearby-- the City Gallery Museum. I'll take that, so as to stay positive, and be happy I'm outside.
