What are some of your personal accomplishments you're proud of?

Last week, my 4 school kids that I supported as L.S.A (all deaf) got distiction for their english speaking board exam and I was well chuffed with them, they had spoken about their topic, read aloud a chapter, read aloud a poem in front of panel of judges.

i have WORSE regret that i didnt go California State University, Monterey on baseball scholarship...IF IF IF IF IF i go CSUM on baseball scholarship, i will call this is GREATEST accomplish in my life.
 
Another one is rescuing several unwanted and handicapped animals over the years. The latest is Joey, my deaf Pekingese.

Although they did more for me really than I did for them.
 
my #1 personal accomplishment was finding out that i did have some good in me after all those years i served my former master, darth sidious.. and my #2 on-going personal accomplishment is having jiro kiss my foot every time he is in my presence.

That's a awesome thing to do for those animals. Joey sounds like a good pet when he watched over you during your bout of illness. :)

I'd love to adopt a deaf cat someday.

Yes, I still do art. I like to draw and do oil paintings and also I use Photoshop as well. It's a great way to deal with stress. This talent runs in my mother's side of the family. Near everyone in that side has the talent, including my own sister.

Yes, thank goodness. He's an asshole, and I hate his wife. I don't talk to them. It's best this way. Talking to him only stresses me out big time. I live clear across the country from them, thank goodness.
 
Won Vision award for ICT at college and get in Uni and am in final year because I had really bad eduction at 4-12 years old so everyone thought it be impossible. But I did it anyway.

Other was was swim 200 laps in just over 2 hours for charity when I was 13 years old.
 
I am proud of what I have done so far...

1 - get a place of my own after a few years and wanted to live in the city, finally got the chance.....

2 - get a job, which I have 2 part time jobs that I do enjoy but am more interested in school to go back to get a better career...

3 - being the only one in my family to graduate from high school (parents and 1 sister and 3 brothers never did finish school at all before I changed that with my graduating from hs)

4 - was able to play sports despite my deafness (soccer, fastball) and almost came close to being on a championship team in soccer back in 1991-92 (would have been nice to have had a championship ring for sure to treasure but I can do with my grad ring).. btw I was mainstreamed at my school (only deaf kid there)

I will add more later when I can think of more.. hehe..

Good accomplishments! I was on a soccer team where we were state champions, twice. Man, utterly surreal at the time.

I admire you for your actions, Bott.

Which leads me to the accomplishment of which I am most proud. Deciding what my principles are and being true to that in all of my actions. Some, quite obviously, don't consider that to be much of an accomplishment. However, I believe that it is the most important thing one can do with one's life. It is easy to talk the talk; walking the walk is much more difficult.
 
I'm proud of the fact that I have a great, loving wife that I've been married to for 18 years. And having 2 wonderful kids- a son who is now serving in the military and a daughter who is in high school.

I'm proud of my accomplishments as a hearing-impaired musician. Taking a band of professional musicians with me to play at our state Deaf Association Convention last summer and rocking the ballroom for 3 hours.

My biggest regret in life is that I dropped out of college after 3 years. Always planned to go back but this thing that we call LIFE got in the way. I'll go back after I retire :P
 
I'm proud that I gave up all the bad shit I used to do when my first daughter came into the world, simple. I was going down the wrong road and it's thanks to her I'm on a better road now, thats for sure.
