I wonder how do you become moderator? I dont mind being one actually because I'm always on here and I never have anything to do haha.
hmm....
No clue who new Mods would be lol
Does Alex choose based on his decision or does he ask for volunteers? How does that work?
Funny since, Easter is coming up but you forgot about the leprechaun bec it was St. Patrick's day yesterday
I looked it up for some kind of rules in support section. All i know is Alex handpicked people to be Mods all by himself, look like no applying for it or anything. And one post I found when searching said if you mentioned that you want to be Mod he wont pick you... I think he was lying
How those thing work? I'll guess maybe he PM few of people he like and ask if they want to be Mod then train them since i see sub-forum said "training" and then give them offical Mod title when they "graduate??
I think what he means by not picking you if you say you want to be a mod is that he doesnt want someone in that postion that's just looking for the 'perks' or is power hungry. Makes perfect sense in my opinion. As for me Im not sure I would even want to be a mod anyway once you get right down to the nitty gritty of it.

Alex said:Now, I'm going to be straightforward and list some of the things that will NOT make you a moderator:
- If you're just looking for "power" by being a moderator, forget about it not here.
- If you were mentioned in our watch list in the Mod's Corner and were banned in the past, then most likely we don't want you in our mod team. Those that have continuously attacked a moderator in the past are automatically not considered.
- If you're not willing to stay neutral at all times, or at least TRY your best to be, then you're better off staying as a regular member.
- If you have made members uncomfortable being around you since you joined AllDeaf because of your negative attitude, then that's usually not a good sign.
- If you're not an active member and have made little contribution to AllDeaf, then sorry but the moderator position is not for you.
- If you know you're too busy and probably won't have time to moderate for a minimum of 30 minutes a day, then that's understandable but the moderator position may be a little too much for you.
Deaf Moderator.. I rather deaf only.. Ok ?

What you mean "Deaf" Mods? Like No CI or HA wearer, or ASL only Deaf or anyone with any kind of hearing loss oralist, ASL, CS or etc doesn't matter?
Just wondering what you mean by that, I'm sure some other does too.
