If I were a guy, I'd be Allen. My first name is Ellen. I wouldn't have to change my middle name either. My middle name is Hunter.

I often have to tell the hearing my name is spelled E l l e n not A l l en and once I overheard one hearing ask another coworker if my name should be spelled Ellen or Allen so I don't think it has anything to do with my speech but that it has to do with the vagaries of English phonics.

Mom was going to name me Daniel Joseph lol but when she birthed me she was in shock because for the whole time she thought I was a boy. :giggle:

ha If i were a guy. you and mine would be the same middle name Joseph. I did ask mom about joseph. she said, "yes, dad wanted it".

I have seen it on TV......Sometimes people CALL people a douche.....so naming someone SE would be CALLING them a douch.....Not funny if you have to explain it
