I've abandoned BTEs for RICs. That's my Audi can't change the tube.
Oh, okay. I'm unfamiliar myself with the RIC tubing, so that makes sense.

Have fun trying these new ones out. I hope you enjoy them!
I don't think I can get the tubes bigger, they're RIC. I will talk to my Audi next week for the follow up about that, though
I think the Q RICs are supposed to be more water resistant than the SP or UP, sorry i didn't realize you had the RIC
My husband also has RIC, and the receiver tubes should come in lengths, 1, 2, and 3, so you probably need the next longest size from what they gave you.
When I said swimming, I meant splashing around in the pool and doggy paddling XD
Yes glad you like them but when reading all the materials for the Q since I'm getting one myself no where did it say waterproof only water resistant...i would not by any means go swimming with your hearing aids on.
I wouldn't even wear them splashing around a pool. My really old school Naidas are "water resistant" which means I don't have to immediately take them out if I'm caught in rain but I absolutely can't wear them swimming or even near a pool.
I really wish I could wear RICs but I'm stuck with enormous SP or UP BTEs.
I really wish hearing aid makers would spend a bit more time on people with severe to profound hearing loss.
Siemens makes a completely waterproof hearing aid but it is for mild to moderate hearing loss only. Phonak makes the H2O version but again, it is only for less severe hearing losses.
