I'm SUPER thrilled with them. They have surpassed my expectations.
Only flaw is that one tube is too short, so we have to send it back in.
They're also really boring and inconspicious. :(
BUT
The sound is super amazing, and they are so much more comfortable than my old Exelia P's!
Oh, the epic new Hearing Aids are the Naidia Q's!
I CANT WAIT TO GO SWIMMING WITH THEM!!!!
*Happy Dance*

Has anyone gotten them? If you have, what do you think of them?
*They're RICs, sorry for not clarifying that

You can swim with them? I know the Naidas are highly water resistant, but that is very different from waterproof. The only hearing aids I've heard of that are submergable in water are the Siemens Aquaris...

About the part I have added the bold to. I am not familiar with the model you just got; but, can't your audi just put a new tube on in their office?

Yep. Is there something unique about this particular tube that it can't just be replaced in the audi's office?

Yes, the audi should be able to replace it in the office with the Phonak Naida Q..

I don't think so--the tube is integrated with the ear mold. I'm looking at mine right now and I can't see how it would be something an audi could replace. My left ear tube is a tiny bit short and is irritating but I'm not keeping mine so I am not going to do anything about it. The audi cut them for length and just got the left a fraction short.

Oink--I'm glad you like them. If they were a bit more powerful I think I would really like them as well. I can see how they work and have some benefit from them...if I could get get past all the static and distortion since they are just not enough for my hearing.

I can submerge them up to 3 feet feet for 30 minutes.

Are you sure you have the Q's and are you POSITIVE you can submerge them? I know my audi said that mine are ok in the rain, etc. but not to take a shower with them on, etc. Your Q's sound different than mine.

I just looked it up on the website--they are listed at water resistant. I would double check that you can swim with them.

Ok, I can immerse it for a short period of time, but I'm not planing to risk it. I have a cShell RIC.

Thanks! We tried safaris, but they didn't agree with me. Your new earmolds are sooooo cool!!!

Hey- I'm used to big, fat tubes over my ears, and these skinny ones are hurting my ears. Can I put a cover or something over it? Is there a product that could help?

I don't think I can get the tubes bigger, they're RIC. I will talk to my Audi next week for the follow up about that, though :)

yeah I wouldn't risk wearing the hearing aids in a pool or shower or anything, since they've only got a water resistant rating. But enjoy your new HA's!

Thought of something that may or may not be fit. Could the cautions about showering be as much a matter of getting soap or body wash on them rather than just water?
