Platypus can be found in all over Australia's creek rivers, and yes it is on endagered list, and there is a special Sanctuary near where I live is trying to breeding more platypus.

Platypus close their eyes when they were in water hunting for foods, also their tails are poison if you touch it. It is sooo rare to find platypus in the wild. To me, platypus is half fish and half duck, very odd but cute furry animal.
