Weird Weather

Wow quite a story you got there...I might would have pee my pant that for sure :giggle:

yes it was very scary... especially i was worried about TJ.. he was at his fathers house and I was worried the whole time.. couldnt get thru to him as phone was out all night till next day i gave up and decided i had to go to Conway and check with him to see if hes there or not.. he said yes tj is fine.. i said phone was out.. he said i know.. couldnt get thru lol so dunno if TJ is fine or not? but said yes TJ is fine! whew! i was so relieved!!!!

but anyway mom, me, my sis jo jo, my nephews freddy, and gauge, their momma brandi, and brandi's mom tami were with us.. we all huddled together in small hallway and waited the storm out.. i could hear the sounds outside hitting something many times.. windy.. heard it like a train.. never forget the sounds!!!! the kids were crying.. scared.. i had to hug them and tell them its ok.. shhhh .. and all that.. definitely will never forget this ... close call!

Oh I sure don't blame you at all for worry about your son TJ, I would have too if it was one of my children...And I didn't know it sounds like a train going by, interesting....

I didn't think you would hear anything but impressed to know that it's loud enough to be able to hear that storm out there...I was wondering how a deaf person would be able to know when the tornado/storm is over with...Usually some hearing people take their batteries radios with them that when they know the storm is over...

im not fully deaf. i am hoh..so i can hear even without my hearing aid.. but with hearing aid hear more.. you know? anyway yes the sounds were so loud.. u can tell when its over by when the sounds had moved away.. then its safe to come out.. but the dangers of lightnings still existed then so i had to wait till it was over then i went out in the rains to check for damages. i got very WET LOL.. grr. but i had to check on my cats and my car thats why... they all were ok.. whew! guess where they hide? it was under the old house as i found htem huddled together.. hehe.. smart cats.. :)

I thought to share my story about what I remember when I was alittle girl. During the thunderstorm, I got scared (not cried), my mother used to say that's okay because that was from bowling alley that Jesus, Mother Mary and Joseph were bowling at. Then I got upset and cried because I want to go bowling too. :giggle:
