Possible funnel clouds?
Harrow out in the county experienced a school lockdown yesterday...
they had acouple of funnels in the sky.

I thought Canada never got tornadoes!
 
When you see funnel clouds its forming into a tornadoes...... So watch out and watch the weather channel!!

Be careful!!
 
Yeah canada can get tornado but not so huge like in Katrina no just small that is all ..

In 1991 or 1992 when I was live in Collingwood, Ontario ther have Tornado in around Barrie, Ontario but didnt anything damges house.

In ontario in 1995 I think cant remember in Welland, Ontario got small Tornado and got tore one the movie outside the threat (sp) that we watching the movie outside. Welland have 4 threat outside in one area easy for ppl watch :). It got fixed :)


2 or 3 yrs ago it got Tornado in Southern which I live in Southern but not in Fergus but I live in St.Catharines. Got damges in Fergus that was really awful that houses got down by hit Torando. Here St.Catharines supposed be got tornado but didnt it miss in st.catharines 2 or 3 times that make me wonder wow miss in my home area st.catharines maybe tornado dont like st.catharines I guess :lol: but lucky didnt damages in st.catharines, Welland, and others not sure :)

Long time ago in Alberta in Red Deer got really bad damages all the trailers when it have tonado yikes. I dont know about in BC, Sask, Manotiba, Nova Scotia, and more in Canada :)

Last Aug 2, 2006 got bad thunderstorm which I didnt know there have torando :eek3: didnt know only I thought it is thunderstorm that is all good thing my roof was fixed then next day thunderstorm hehe

Yes but Katrina is not a tornado.. it is hurricane.. thats different..

i was going to say the same thing as you did! :) hehe

right.. hurricane formed over ocean.. whereas tornadoes formed over land.. but if it formed over water then its called water spout. its found everywhere especially in florida.

Yeah here Ontario have lake ha :lol:

heheh that is why I said it is not same as Katrina in here that got Tornado it is only small not so big like in Katrina :)

Seems to be clear today!
Not a cloud in the sky.
I may take the lil one out for a bike ride..she doesn't start school until
Monday.
