No exercise is going to just melt the pounds away fast. You have to think, you didn't just gain the weight overnight, it's not going to just disappear that fast, either. The weight is only going to come off as fast as you put it on, and that's being generous. It is actually going to come off slower. It is easier to gain weight than to lose it, of course. The only way to lose weight and keep it off is 1-2 pounds a week and if you lose it even that fast, you've got to really bust your hump. 1200 calories a day ( The more you work out the more calories you need to eat though ), and work your butt off. In order to lose weight, you have to burn more calories than you take in. 1 pound of fat is equal to 3500 calories, do the math. It's not as easy as you may think. A lot of people have good luck with P90X but it's INTENSE and if you're just starting to work out and haven't built up tolerance, honestly it's not going to be something you're going to be able to jump right into. You have to change up your work out every day. If you do the same work outs every day, your body will become immune and stop losing weight. So, one day you have to do crunches, the next weij:ghts, the next work on your legs, the next a treadmill, the next and elliptical and so on. You have to keep changing it up. ( I have a personal trainer ) Weight resistance training with a Yoga ball usually yields the best results paired with cardio workouts. You also have to make sure you're getting plenty of protein and eating healthy... working out and downing a snickers isn't going to help. Also, fruit is your enemy... so is pasta... Lots of veggies, protein shakes, no sugar or sweets and of course lots of water... no Gatorade or sweet drinks... only water. That's the fastest way you're going to see results. Again, nothing and I mean NOTHING will make you lose weight fast... like I said in the beginning... you didn't put on the weight over night, in a few days, in a week, in a few weeks... it's not going to come off that way, either.
Also, don't even think about eating less than 1200 calories... You'll set your body into starvation mode and you'll hold onto every ounce of food you do eat... and you won't lose any weight at all... and might even gain. ( Medical professional, obsessive gym goer ect. ect. )
I'm tired of all yahoo articles saying bad to do this do that instead. No matter what type of excerise it is some article says its not the right way.
Other day read its better to do 30 second sprints instead of 30 minute walk. Then another article saying running is bad for you do walk instead etc. There are plainly too many opinions on what is right and wrong for you
I've heard of P90x with coworkers but I have not seen physical evidence it works yet.
Now they are saying that fruit is not good for you! Oh brother!
Who is saying this?? Maybe it's b/c of the way fruit is being grown today , it's being sprayed bright colors to look ripe and pretty .
I think it is the best thing for each of you all who focus on yourself that everyone is different. I thought I would be good if i workout more than two hours often. I notice that i did not do too well with it because i eat too much. So i cut down on workingout like up to 45 minues often then i eat less.
Actualy i dont do very well with my eating habits lately. I think i did ok with workout but not eating habits. ugh!!!!
