Three days ago I finally gave up chocolate.
For the past two days I've been measuring food intakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drinking couple of hot cup of tea a day. Am trying to learn to like drinking water.
In the past I'd put 2 to 3 servings of cheerios (cereal) in the bowl and this is loaded with carbos. I knew I had to fix my portion of food. I followed the box and it said to use only 3/4 cup. Geez, that's all?? What I ended up doing is add 1/2 sliced banana in the bowl to make it fuller. The other day I had one scrambled egg, 2 strips of bacon and one wheat toast with raspberry jam on it. FeistyChick told me what she had for breakfast so I took her advice.
Today I had 3/4 cup of cheerios with few strawberries and some blueberries. I drank my hot tea with it. I was actually full by the time I finished it.
Today for lunch I had mangos and tuna without mayonaise. Two hours later I had stawberry yogurt. I need to have calcium because I take thyroid pills. I had another hot cup of tea.
Dinner I had 2oz oven baked haddock with lemon juice, light salt, pepper and some paprika. 1/2 cup of Jasmine rice and 1 cup of steamed carrots, celery, and onion. So delish! By the end of the evening I am actually so full.
I hope I did it right...
