Hi everyone
As I believe I stated before in my introduction I am hearing. However growing up in my earlier school years (ages 8 to 11 or so) I had several severe ear infections. I was always put at the front of the class room, and frankly never did so great at school, not because I didn't want to but I feel maybe because I had hearing difficulties ? I've always had to listen very intently to others for as long as I can remember, but over the past 6 years it seems that it's getting a bit harder to hear than normal. Six years ago I had a Brain Tumor on the left side of my brain requiring extensive surgery and recuperation while on active duty in the Army. However I don't think it's related.... Anyways my question is this; should I go to an audiologist and get tested ? Would it be helpful do you all think ? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
