Correct me if I am wrong but didn't this happen during the Vietnam war?

Now this is happening with the Iraqis and the Americans soldiers are taking pictures and posting them in a forum, aren't they losing a "moral" war as well?

Like CR mentioned, the Americans will be next however are the Americans and their families prepared for this??

This whole thing is a blasphemy.

Indeedy. Hypocrisy and they are damn good at it. Conservative Christians become red-faced and barked at Gonzales about porns on internet and yet they didn't say anything about these disgusting 'porn' pictures. I've contacted Family Research Council (conservative christians organization) three days ago when Andrew Sullivan, conservative blogger found out about that site and I haven't hear anything from them. No surprise here.
 
I went over there and took a look around. The mentality of some of these soldiers is beyond belief. "Cooked Iraqi" was gross beyond description—and these guys are just standing around hamming it up for the camera and laughing. :crazy:

it happens in EVERY war. :roll:

even as in WWII, some soilders traded pics of dead nazis bodies and traded them to the people who want those pictures for history and give them Playboy magazines as an reward or something.

How did they do that? With a time machine? WWII ended in 1945. Playboy magazine was founded in 1953.

I think the difference is accessability of the internet; everything gets spread around much quicker now. During the Vietnam war, there was no internet.

It seems that the owner of that site has been arrested in the name of national security. Apparently the Bush regime doesn’t want the American public to witness the full extent of their handiwork. Now that’s REALLY fucked up.
 
Your link says that "Chris Wilson, adult webmaster from Polk County, Florida was arrested for over 300 counts of obscenity", not "in the name of national security."

If "the Bush regime" is trying to prevent the American public from knowing about this horrible story, then I guess they didn't do a very good job because everyone seems to know about it. It isn't a secret.

There's only so much filth I'll tolerate and I didn't see the pics, as it's not necessary. I support bringing ALL our troops home from everywhere in the world they are stationed. Let GWB fuck these people himself if he wants to with this deal in Iraq, which, by the way, is NOT a war.

I don't support our troops or our people in the Olympics, as both parties embarrass US citizens. I won't even stand and applaud them at parades ever!

How can you say this? I've got some problems with our troops being over in Iraq, too, but they were sent there. They didn't choose this.

I have issues with our government, but I believe our troops still deserve our support and our respect, no matter what!

I've heard this war being compared to Vietnam. It truly WILL BE a Vietnam if the troops come home and there is no support for them, and I think that is sad.

Be mad at the government, but do NOT take it out on the Troops!

And, what the heck does the Olympians have to do with this? :confused:

Just support our U.S. troops and our U.S. Olympicans. We also can agree or disagree about what our U.S. president is doing or isn't doing.

Pek1, that does not give you the right to trash our fellow countrymen fighting for us. They got orders to be sent over there. " We the people " keep the U.S. President in check.

God forbid, this is an example only.... What if a U.S. Homeland Security situation erupted tonight and you had to defend your home from crazy bloodthristy islamic terrorists and you are fighting very hard for your own life and protect your family from being murdered. You repel wave after wave of assaults with your rifle, knife anything in your home to kill those bastards, kill the terrorists with a rock bashed in their head, kill them with your own bare hands. Defend the U.S. Homeland.

Would you still want people to be hating you and not be supporting your right to homeland self defense and they will be shouting Anti-American things in your face as they attack to kill you.

Imagine how those U.S. Troops think of you as they fight day/night hunting islamic terrorists and you stab the U.S. Troop's backs half a world away in the safety of your own home? What's up with that?

This is NOT a war. Congress did NOT declare war, despite what GBW says. This isn't even close to Vietnam, the troops today are having picnics...the troops in Vietnam had to fight and fight for their lives oftentimes.

The athletes on the olympic team has always had bad attitudes. They are not grateful or applaud the winner if it's not them, very poor sportsmanship. This year they've been okay, but in years past, it's no wonder no one is watching the olympics...poor little rich kids.
