I'm not so sure, and it hard to trust people these days....:dunno:

Well, she could work part time. She uses "deaf" for an excuse in order to get $$$. This reminds me of those deaf beggars selling fingerspelling cards.

sorry i am not expert with the computer use. You can visit Craigslist

Look for Los Angeles

Then click for items wanted

Click for Wanted.

Yeah, I noticed some posts are Tacky to sell or free..

That's where I got our new puppy from criaglist.com..

We are so glad that we have her.. she is such sweet dog.. but sadly that her previous owner mistreated her.

Yeah thats the truth. People try to be very smooth and convince people to fall for crap like that. On e-mail I just report and delete them, on the phone cuss them out and hang-up on them, mail I just shred it. That simple hehe'

Maybe she already did these things then things happened that were truly out of her hands because she lives on a fixed budget. I would not call that tacky if she is really Deaf. Anything to help a Deaf brother or a Deaf sister out. You know how hard enough it is. I don't follow the hearing world on something like this being snobby and saying that it is tacky then laugh about it and do nothing to help her. You know, Deaf people have to be creative with money and it does not hurt to ask, I am sure she is looking for a job in the meantime. If she was sitting at home all day and asking for money then that would be a different story and also she is in college and for those of you who have been to college know just how hard college can be on the money situation. Help a Deaf sister out, don't criticize her because then you are doing nothing to help her so help her out if you can and are truly willing to help her, a Deaf sister.

Its definetly SCAM! Know why? If she is truly on fixed income, there is medicaid there to cover almost every penny on medical bills. So I don't fall for it. Plus hospital generally don't chase over the debts, they routline use grants and donations to cover up the expense these days. Only fools would fall for it! OOPS I didn't realize I am using LT account, this is DHB!

I remember a friend of mine telling me how a deaf person asking people for money, so peopple would feel sorry for this person just because this person is deaf. My friend got upset and walked up to this person and told this person that its wrong..but This person didnt care and walked away from her. I think thats the story she told me. Its been a long time since she told me.

You are right about that. Medicaid would have covered that but sometimes they messed up on the billing process and you end up having to pay for it. it sucks.. but if you fight them then you can get it paid for withiin certain times. i have done that before when they refused to pay for when they said its wrong billing so had to go to dr and tell them fix it right and they put in right billing then mediciad pay them.. so it was paid for.. whew!
