hmph, why do you rather Nike over Walmart? One thing for sure- walmart laptops would be cheaper than NIKE laptops. The only reason you are :ugh: because you dont think Walmart is cool enough to buy laptops but that is not what Walmart is targeting for- they are targeting to be the affordable supercenter, that is all. NIke is all about profits for their fat cats and overpriced and ripoff products for the consumers. so... think about those kidn of things from the people under poverty level. Don't look down and make a big fuss about a "poor brand" making a laptop. :) Be glad it is not KMART that tries to sell their brand in laptops market. :)

I have no compliant about wal wart has own laptop in future.. its good start with their new business products! Like in past, emachine's product was LOUSY SYSTEM AND DIS-SERVICE. Presently, eMachine's computers and laptop are improve products techican and successful business now.. it is great business in market invest now! Then Wal Mart will have own new laptop by name of band "WalMart", just give wal mart a chance. And see how its their business product and techology better in future.. be PATIENT!

Hmm... this could be good for those "build-it-yourself" PCs.

I guess probably, Nike can afford something good for laptop than rather for Wal-Mart to buy cheap equipment.

well... something u don't know about nike shoes? do you know how much they accually cost to make those nike shoes? it's less than $1 to make nike shoes.. and they sell for more than $100 which they make more nearly $100 in profit per shoes... heh?

Wal-mart is doing smart thing.. they're doing fair for customers.. give fair price..

if nike make their own computer i'm sure that computer accually worth $300 to make it.. and they'll sell it for $2,000.... that's $1,700 profit a peice... worth it? nah.. that's rip-off.. nike don't make it fair for customers... :)

Remmy wal-mart's #1 rule... Customers are the BOSS! :P

LOL, you shouldn't talk about shoes in computer selection.
Reason I said about Nike because I thought it would be neat to have logo on it. And Nike is very wealthy as Wal-Mart. But Wal-Mart carry the brand which are most unfamiliar. For example, Wal-Mart doesn't sell Sony TV. Best Buy does. Wal-Mart doesn't Nike shoes, brought different company shoes to sell it like Shoes Payless.

So, I am said that Nike could bring something better than Wal-Mart for big-ego customers.

Actually, DELL is already doing that. They are already being fair to their customers. It's Gateway that is ripping their customers off! In fact, I'm living proof of it! I'm a Gateway owner and it sucks!

i own a gateway too.. since 98.. however i still love it :P have been upgrading it though..

but their loan, etc.. is a huge rip-off..

DELL's business is fading... it's offer sounds too good to be true.. it's a little tricky here... i have heard stories that they offer low interest rates.. somehow few months later they rose their interest rates dramically almost 10-15 percent more.. it shocked the customers... however, it's customers fault.. they signed the agreement.. didn't read the full fine print.. and however the fine print is also too complex to understand what they really mean.. tricky.. however, law permits that.

I believe buying wal-mart computer brand names is the best deal.. you can put in layaway, use wal-mart credit card and pay no interest for 3 months, and it's good deal.. and computer runs fine.. remember all computers you buy that are expensive.. 4 months later it will be worth half price. for example, you brought DELL or GAteway, or other brand name for $2,700.. 4 months later it will be worth $1,350. another 4 months it will be worth $750.. good? nah..

You are Correct Fly Free My dad had DELL Laptops a few of them and they all broke down...My dad did warned me not to buy DELL,, Told me to get Compaq...

Rather build the computer as "Customed Computer" or buying one from independent business. Refuse buy any computer from Wal-Mart, Compaq, HP, Dell, and any business that related to "Nationwide".

By the way, I refuse buy any Dell computers. Why? Worked for Dell for a year in Austin during 1995.

Me, too Lasza! I refuse to buy any brand name computers. I'd buy very good brand name, but I won't do it because it's horribly expensive and they become obsolete within 6 months. It's not really worth it. My computer is custom built and it works beautifully just like having a good brand name with a top of the line computer. It may be expensive, but they last a long time without needing to replace hardwares so in the end I'm saving a lot.

e Machine isn't a brand name isn't it? Well I own e Machine and it rules! I think Wal-Mart should go into technology business because I'm tired of paying high costs for hardware and software.
