My Viable Vision wont work to connect into VPAD for testing yesterday. I called Viable support. They said that they are not ready yet before FCC will approve. That s wierd. they suppose to work with Vpad and Viable Vision for beta testing now.

I bet it is the IP number errors calling to these VPads directly.

Ha, still rookie. I can tell why they're try to improve because of incoming video show choppy.

Your VV should be working by via VV with screenname is much easier than IP address.

For VPAD, do you own VPAD ? with wireless card ?

FYI, not many people who want give out their public IP address too often...I have a friend with VP-200 and I connect from my VV to VP-200 work fine but each time to make a call, IP address changes then give me new IP address over and over, sometimes old IP address connect to somewhere (oops wrong ip address), I think VV is a great idea addy for screenname for quick connect via VV but darn no real VP phone number is missed important features but FCC is ruling depends on what is for VRS thingy limited (Queer).

A free service such as dyndns (see. DynDNS: DNS Hosting, Email Delivery and Other Services) solves this ever changing IP problem by using domain (ie. yourvpnumber.dyndns.org). Unforunately VP doesnt even have that funtion, but most routers does.

If your router doesnt support it, just install client updater on your PC to automatic update IP to domain name.

Little Off Topic.....

One day, I called Viable Vision's customer service on Video Phone. I had some question about VPAD.

I noticed that Viable Vision's customer service has limited skill in sign language. Then, we had poor communication. She can't understand my fingerspelling. Many time again again again... I lost my patient with Viable Vision's customer service.

I wonder why they hired hearing person with limited skill in sign language.
