<----If I stayed in California 10 years ago up to now, I would have:

Voted NO on recall, YES on Bustamante and NO on both 53 and 54.

Good thing I moved outa California in '93.

a vote for Schwarzenegger=That means Shrub gets 4 years more in the White House. Forget that!

Hell if Ahnuld wins, expect a Recall Bush movement!

why, if I am an Califorina citizen, I vote for the Terminator

this is not suprising, but for me, i would have voted for bustmante not for the celeberites! jeez talk abt a money making BS

I voted Arnie... not because he's a celebrity. Because his forums actually make sense, and he's NOT a career politician, and he is a business-man. He can bring businesses back to California, and then we all get more jobs back. We are in need of that. And PLEASE, CRUZ is WORSE than Davis!! He only acts on simpathy ("I come from a large, poor family, father worked 3 jobs to support us..." blah blah blah) and I hear violins playing when he tells his b.s. During the debate that the top candidates were in, Cruz couldn't even answer some of the questions... only talked about education when the question was about businesses/employment -- SORRY but I AM a College graduate and I don't even have a job! *d-mit*

I'm really happy to know Arnie is now governor-elect, and I trust he will give CA what is needed -- businesses/economy/and most importantly safety, especially after what Davis did signing that Driver License bill for illegal immigrants (they don't need to provide other proof of identity, including birth certificate, thumb print... and this is HORRIBLE!!! Imagine easy access for terrorists!)

Ok, I'll get off my lil soap box. *Cheers* for Arnie!

Javapride...I'm not sure how aware of the candidates you really are.. Bustamane was talking money from the Indian casinos, and other donations... that's WRONG!! Arnie refused donations... and instead put in his OWN money -- he did rely on volunteers. Arnie knows how to raise money on his own.. he is a business man (not just an actor). Bustamane is just a greedy one. That's what's up.

KJ its not abt the candiates i can understand ur point of veiw of this, its just a circus and not only that we re in ca SOO BROKE that its going to take forever to repair the damages! anyhow its just completely farfetched, but u know i wish arnie all the luck in the world as he deserves it!

Yes that's true.. we're so broke in CA -- but I think Arnie can do it, at least turn the path towards surplus without making stupid taxes on businesses/income (that'd drive out more businesses and people!).. it'll take a while, of course... but at least the democrats aren't doing it in the wrong way anymore. Davis is a dirty stank. hehe that's my opinion.

I hate to bust your bubble, but your inability to find a job has nothing to do with who is the governor of california. Arnold has no political experience or whatsover and business experience does not helpe him to run the state government. The government is NOT a business. In my opinion, i think all of those candidates are pretty shaddy, but at least davis got the experience and the knowledge as a career-politican to turn situation around.

:wtf:

"the government is not a business"?? then what is it? A studios set?

the government is a political agency that formed in order to establish authority over society whereas a business is a commerical enterprise that formed for its own survival and to serve customers. A government is not a business, educate thyself and go back to middle school.

No bubble bursted.. I know my no-job situation isn't about politics.. I was talking about Bustamane's response to employment ("We should promote higher education to all in California.." umm.. hello... we're talking about bringing back jobs to CA, and education isn't a complete answer) I was semi-joking about my no-job situation, I was virtually yelling at Bustamane's responses.

Well, I applaud Arnold's stands, and he seems to be a good listener and good responser -- and I just hope he'll keep it up and bring good back to California, and figure out where the waste in our deflicit is. I just appreciate candidates who actually listened to the questions/concerns and respond in ENGLISH (not just politics)

I'm done with this debate.. for now. heh.

Also.. yes you're right, government ISN'T a business. But we NEED businesses in order to run a government (funding, etc) -- and we're losing them due to higher taxation, etc. I never said politics was a business. I just feel maybe it's time for someone with business exprt come in and turn things around.

Ok, this is really my last one.. really.

I just hope that Arnie'll prove it by doing a proper job as Governor. Everyone'll be watching his every single step through history and his future in the job.

I did voted for Arnold Schwarzenegger. :fu:

same here i voted for arnold go figures.. cuz he have $$$ so he may will be helping this state out to be back in good shape instead of being in bad shape since it's harder to find a good job and $$$ is higher not able to be affordable for us to live on our own that's why we turn to roommates to live with for a while  but at least i still live with familiy so I live free for now :P
