Viva Pinata! (360 game)

Okay, I like this game just as much as I thought I would!

I have a question, though. How do you stop your Syrupents from eating your Mousemallows? I know you're supposed to fence them off, but what are the steps to doing so? Do you make a house and put them in there first? Or just make the fence and then put them inside?

Also, how often do you water your plants? Sometimes I'm not able to see the water meter; does that mean they're dead?

Any other tips and tricks or other suggestions would be great. Looking forward to trading with you when I get Gold. :fingersx:

If you don't see the water meter when hovering over the plant, that should mean it is done growing and does not need watering any more.
About the Syrupents eating Mousemallows.. There are tricks to keeping the "sour" pinata away, and I do not know much about them. Try googling for a FAQ or checking GameFAQs.com. I'm kinda tinkering around, doing different stuff, and have been at level 12 or 13 for a few hours. Was growing some poison Ivy, which is really profitable, but bad for pinata, cause I had like 3 or 4 pinata living in my garden just because of the poison ivy. I now have gotten rid of the poison ivy, as I have made my money from it, and now starting my garden from stratch. Fun game. Am about to go play for a little before I catch some Zzz's...

Heh, mostly I'm just whacking the sour pinatas when I see them. I know you can tame them with an apple seed but my apple tree hasn't produced any fruit yet.

I'm definitely going to have to start my garden over again since I'm just fooling around in this one and probably doing everything wrong. It's still fun though!

I liked this game. I returned this game from rental. I will buy this game for sure. Yes, it is addict to you. Sweet. Glad you got this game. You can play around this garden and learn your mistakes. It always start over again. I did several times. I finally picked up and understood how it works that way.

Interpretator, you have a surprise in a crate that I sent to you. I recieved it from Porter at Play, and it moved me up a level and triggered a few events. Merry Christmas!

Awww...thank you!! I'm hoping Santa brings an Xbox Gold subscription tomorrow but if he doesn't, I'm whipping out my own credit card.

I'm a bit confused that you didn't get a 1 month free Gold subscription. Maybe Microsoft stopped doing that. I assume you should be able to recieve the crate even if you are a Silver member. May I also recommend the XboxLive package that is bundled with a webcam for the XBOX360? I bought it for $70 when the subscription and camera separately would run me $80 or $90. It also comes with a few free games, UNO and Robotron 2064.

I guess so. Viva Pinata came with a 48-hour trial subscription, is all. However it's a moot point now because my fiancé insisted I open one gift tonight, and it was my Gold subscription. :dance2: It came with a headset, not a camera though. Heh. I'm going to set it up now and get my crate!

Sweet! I betcha you jump up a level and get a shovel upgrade, and a few events get triggered.

That was friggin great. I went up I think a level and a half. No events but I've had a bunch of them lately, and I think I have all the shovel upgrades as I have the Super Shovel achievement.

I hate those stupid Helpers, though. I whacked my Gatherling because she stood around complaining there was no work when I had buckets of honey lying around. (Every now and then she MIGHT pick up a jar of honey.) I'm going to hire them all, name one, and whack 'em just for the Achievements.

So is anyone playing this? A guy I know on Live and from another forum loves it. I'm considering it, it seems like a fun downtime game to play, and it's online.

A couple of friends from another site love this game. I have not heard anything bad about it yet, so I will pick it up when I can. I don't care if I am a kid or not as long as I will have fun playing with them.

While on the surface it looks like it is for kids, I can assure you it is not for kids, it is way too deep for kids. I am sure there are some smart kids who can play this game, but I am pretty certain that the majorityof kids would not have the patience for this game.
