I know this thread may be useless, but does anyone know who is good at Visual Basic? I lost my skills two years ago and I am working on one where I am stuck again and it is due tomorrow morning......:pissed:

Same problem, lost skill over 9 years ago. My skill on it is almost rot out rust. LOL

Good luck, hope you can find somebody down here that might help you.

The reason I am doing this again is that I am doing BA in Software Engineering now at university. :aw:

Jay, I'm a VB guy. However, I have no time, I'm swamped. JClarke, I'm confident, the folks here can and will give you all the assistance and help you need, they are good, ... having a solution that works well for you by your time tomorrow for your class may be a problem though. :giggle: Give these folks a try: Extreme Visual Basic Talk Forum No association, usual disclaimers. I remember what it is was like for me in the beginning, learning VB, not fun and my head hurt from thinking. :laugh2:

Good Luck and hope this helps.

Gone fishing in a few.

I haven't done any visual basic for years, so I have forgotten them.

How did it go? were you able to finish it on time?

Nope, it wasn't finished, I gave up when I had an headache, had to submit whatever I can and it would result with an automatic resubmit.

That sucks!

But the good news is...

It is not the end of the world.

I have taken QuickBasic, VB, C++, and Java (I still have the college textbooks).

BUT, I forgot how to do it. It's in a "do it and then forget it" way every semester lol.

I'm savvy at networking, however.

I am using Visual Basic 2008, I have some knowledge if you still into programming JClarke. (I know it is still old posting but I thought I can bring it back and discuss about it.)

In the end, I passed that related subject two years ago (yes, it was late 2009) - I am doing C Programming now...
