For the Viable VPAD Users, the VideoMail is ready to be used now :)

Sorry didn't see this one coming...

Now... I want say something about VPAD feature of videomail. All I can say... CHAMP!!

I couldn't describable what I am saying, the videomail quality is way beyond my exception.

What more I can say... the advantage about that... you can check videomail on VPAD or Viable.net or sidekick xl. Its nice feature those part.

Want congratulation their accommodation they have done so far. My little disappoint is... I test Purple or Sorenson device to call Viable signmail, it doesn't work.. only VPAD... hopefully they are working that port type filter.

To be honest, i dont like vpad anymore because i have issues with it and i have been trying to reach viable to request the correct port forwarding, all i get is black screen. Fuck it, i have a better videophobe than this but although, at least i could inform everyone in regards about the videomail.

I noticed VideoMail message this mornng If no answer to call, black screen appears and wait in few moments before viewing recording screen. That s weird!

it should tell you how to use port forwarding for vpad :)

I may sound blurt, but I disagree with that video but at least he tries help with that.

Speaking of 1720 can be the advantage but as the FCC Explain clear that need default provider to set one for device. It shouldn't any conflict with anywhere another...

My point that two issue as today what I have seen are MVP and Sorenson VP200 use that 1720 ports.

Then VPAD set 1720... no no...

Keep that remain as 41000 as standard for Viable and not the 1720 or the DMZ or the Static NAT. DONT!

If you want those incoming call for each default provider for one number.

Anyway--- I suggest...

Set that router as 41000 TCP and 42000-42014 TCP/UDP for whatever that router default the static ip address from router. Not let remain keep DHCP to repeat change IP Address due power cycle from thunder storm.

At least he try to help but 1720 is that one thing I disagree that part... that you see 41000 is where the control for incoming call.. it doesn't matter what the number and the Viable server still accept anyway due the MAC ID or Physical Address is matter to Viable.net.

I have several told that Viable Tech Support isn't that friendly as HOVRS and Sorenson do friendly.

Those people should have help since its their product! Even it still under one year warranty.

The black screen issue tend cause that go to Settings, Call, and remove the Gateway IP Address and it should resolve...

yeah i agree with you too..but i just show video that all expect not for 1720 port lol.. so 41000 yeah it is correct..

:eek3: FCC blocks the phone number calls from outside of USA. PFFFTTTT.

I have a videophone that supports that, and eventually I have no problem calling to my american friends from Australia ;) (incidating that I have tricks under my sleeve)
