Verizon iPhone is really coming out

im keeping the ATT because of excellent coverage here. I cannot wait to take advantage of deep discounts. :)
 
I am not interested in Verizon's wireless. Not economy on data plan.

I rather go with AT&T's TAP. Start from $35. My wife will burier her HTC Tilt. Soon, she will get iphone 4. I still use original iphone for wifi only. Someday, I will find ipod Touch 4th Gen for lower price.

Ok, lets clear up this confusion. What Chevy57 is trying to say is that Apple will not be making an LTE iPhone until 2012. However, Verizon will have LTE by the end of 2010. The only reason that I can think they would to this is to let Verizon "test the waters" first with their LTE. Once Apple sees that it's stable, they will have their LTE phone available.

@Chevy57...Do you have a source that states 2012 for the LTE iPhone?

Yeah. Some rumors are not true. Some reports are mixed up. LTE iPhone is true or false next year. Steve Jobs must announce about new Verizon iPhone this year or next year.

So are you saying that the 2012 statement was a guess? Not factual?

Read your link. It's a good "opinion" piece, but not factual information. So basically, based on Apple's history in the smart phone and cellular data world.. People are speculating (key word) that Apple will not have an LTE (or HSPA+) phone from the onset of their respective rollouts. While this is valid (History repeates itself theory), it's not fact.

However, I think it will happen as well. But I think Q4 2011, just in time for Christmas. :)

Then why he said "Verizon" in first place?
 
I would wait until Steve Jobs makes the official announcement in the future at an Apple event, then go from there. Until then I am not putting my money on a Verizon iPhone (and it WONT be with me as I am getting off Verizon in the future).
 
Verizon will be available for iPad and iPhone4 for sure. But not 4G like what ubuntu mentioned that Apple want to make sure its stable before switch to 4G will be ready end of 2011. What I learned that customers have choices to use AT&T or Verzion.
