Righteo, thanks! Mystery Diner it is. Yes, she was allowed to stay and stopped pushing her extreme beliefs on customers. I don't know if you're murdering cows to get cheese (not in Asheville, you're not) and I don't know if the other thing(s) she said were true. I hear it and try to ignore some of it and I'm aware of making my own choices. "You're murdering cows!" I really like the fact that minimally Food Network allows months to pass and reports on how they're doing.
FF - Still no arguing . Good topic!
OF COURSE you are NOT murdering cows to get cheese or milk or other dairy products!! cheese is made from milk btw, as is butter.
In fact, if a cow is not milked daily, it can get seriously sick, because her udder is full of milk that goes spoiled
and eventually turns into bacterial infection mastitis which may be even deadly:
It is very painful for high-producing milk cows to be milked even a few hours late. They will let you know about it too, bawling, stomping their feet and carrying on to express their discomfort. They can and do get mastitis, which is an infection in the udder, from not being milked and mastitis can kill them. It is not a pretty death.
If you don’t milk a cow…..and then some - Farmlife
If one does not want a cow to produce milk, one must not ever milk a cow after it tends to a calf.
Quite like a human, once a calf is weaned a milk production will cease naturally.
The cows are encouraged by humans to produce milk continuously by daily milking, that's why they steadily produce moo juice.
But calling it murder is flat out bonkers. some people do not quite live in reality, sheesh.
