He looks so arrogant. Someone needs to slap him in the face. He reminds me of Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, especially with his blonde hair.

I think so, since the way gay men have sex is similar to how animals such as pigs, dogs, etc have sex...not facing each other, but on top of the other, both facing downwards. I think it's a very offensive term. He should be fired from his elected seat and never be elected to office ever again.

He's probably in the closet and is trying to keep people from finding out he is gay by making all kinds of offensive comments regarding GLBT people. He probably goes and finds a gay prostitute and pays him for sex and also pays him extra to keep his mouth shut, all the while hating GLBT people. Just my guess. :roll: I do not like people like him. They are what makes so many GLBT people have such poor self esteem to the point where they actually commit suicide. It's really sad.

It's wrong of Senator to make that statement about gay/black people. I have black nephews/nieces. I have an uncle and aunt who are gay and lesbian.

I am wonderin' if, that Senator has his own " religious " issue since he made that statement about gay/lesbian people who are the greatest threat to America ? I am just tryin' to understand what made him to say that since I know the state of Utah is famous for Mormons. :-\
 
I didn't know what pig sex was til just now... but pig sex is also common for heterosexuals too. I watch hetero porn and I see plenty of pig sex.

Well - I'm not frivolous to know how they do their act because it isn't my place to say so... but there's one thing I do know of - It is definitely an offensive term for this Utah State Senator to make a blatant statement.

Sure, we may have the freedom of speech to say so, but remember it comes with responsibility. Of course, some things are better left off not being said at all.

I believe this to be a spiritual issue more than anything else.....

If one continues to believe and onto their faith in the God/Goddess/Buddha/Supreme Being/Whatever-- their Answer will come through spiritually. :)
 
I just read today that the Presbyterian church is going to allow homosexuals to serve as church leaders in positions such as deacons, sunday school teachers, and preachers.

I bet thats making a many old-fashioned person roll in their grave!

We actually got into a debate today in SS class about where would we go or what would we do on an individual basis if our church moved in that same direction to allow homosexuals to serve in leadership positions. I kept my mouth shut considering this wasnt the place to vent what I truly felt. It would have not been pretty at all.

The class was split that some would stay and direct the church back to what the scripture says about homosexuality, and others said they would be retracting their membership from the church and go somewhere else.

I myself would see it as an opportunity to see some positive changes in the community in the sense that there are homosexuals that want to seek God but they are afraid to step into church or refuse to because of a large anti-homosexual attitude and atmosphere held by the congregants.

My personal belief is once saved always saved regardless.

That doesnt mean I need to go running around kissing every girl I see, but to me it does mean that in any relationship that Im in, I must remain faithful in it just the same as a husband and wife are commanded to stay faithful to each other when they take the vow of marriage.

I strongly believe that no matter what one's doctrine is, they are commanded to treat a homosexual with respect and share the word with them.

He needs to worry about other stuff like hunger, homelessness, child abuse and etc than what the GLBT community does. He must be gay himself and embarrassed about it.
