Osama Bin Laden isn't a U.S. Citizen. You would have to live here for years, or more in order to be able to run for a government office which is what Arnold did. The same would apply to George W. Bush because if he was to live in Canada for years and then come here and after 4 years, if he try to run as a president, he won't be allowed to do so because he lived in a different country for a long period within the the last few years.

Arnold can't be the President because he is not American-born, but if the constitution is changed so that U.S. Citizens who are not born in America can run for president. There are even conservatives who support this idea.

Think about it, people come here for freedom and if they become U.S. Citizens, then they are Americans. No matter what, and they should be entitled to run for an office as long they are U.S. Citizens.

I actually meant Osama bin Laden is NOT American-born.
I meant non-American born issue (instead of citzenship).
That's NOT a good idea to allow Non-American born
to become the US President. Period. Arnie and anyone else
should NOT ever touch or update the Constitution.

Arnold is an U.S. Citizen meaning he's an American just like you are. Only the difference is that he wasn't born in the USA.

Osama Bin Laden don't have an U.S. Citizenship. Big difference.
 
Yeah Arnold was orginally from Austrila and has been in America for many years, but took the test and earned his citizenship in 1983 before he became an actor.

Anyone who don't take the test and earn their citizenship isn't allowed to run for President...that's the whole difference here, as Banjo said.

I think that, even though I am american born and an american citizen, it's even fair enough for someone who've been in the US for more than 20 years being an american citizen, doing some important jobs, like being a body builder and teach kids how to eat right, became an actor and film in alot of movies as the good guy, and even become the governor of a state you are running for, etc...Arnold may possibly be the perfect choice for a President, as I hear he was doing great as a governor of California he might do even great when he runs for President, because he does seem to care alot for his country.

Other Presidents like Bush only seem to care about money and power, and I think Arnold is actually different than them, so I'm gonna give him a chance to try as President if he ever runs as President someday.

I've had enough of guys being united states president, women anyone? Something new and different, and something more fair, too. Who knows, tho women care more about people than men in general, correct me if I'm wrong.

I am alittle tired of seeing all those old fart rich white guys running for Presidents and some were great presidents, but most were just worthless and stuck up assholes...
