UFO's spotted in the west Midlands in UK

i think it's good to debate and discuss this topic with respect to each other. I think we should also be fimilar with what is involved in deep space travel, fuel capacity, light speed, distance, many, many hurdles to over come! Of course I believe these hurdles can be and will be over come either by us or some other alien life some where. But we need to keep things in perspective and not let our imagination cloud our judgement. Keeping a open mind does NOT mean simply believing we have been visited. It also means considering we have not been visited too. A open mind is open in both directions :)

Some knowledge of the universe and cosmos are in order as well as with what we do know about our own solar system and galaxy and what we know about the closest galaxy to us, about 40 light years away. A light year is how fast and long light can travel in a year at 186,000 miles per second.

Some basic knowledge of physics is also in order to. I love how some UFO buffs like to say to ignore the laws of physics as they may not apply to a advanced alien civialization. This is based on pure speculation.

So back to a Reality Check. If we were to have been visited by such a advanced alien source. They would have been able to master using alternative fuel, possibly by converting anti matter in to energy or bending space time. At any rate would need to get around the speed of light problems in some way. Such technology while certainly possible would IMHO result in more advanced space ships then any thing we have seen in photos or videos which IMO look more like from this planet lol.

Also another factor. AGE. The earth at 3 billian years old is a mere toddler in age and look where we are in evolution. It could require a planet 3 times our age in the evolution process to achieve these feats. No candidates in our solar system so it must be in another galaxy? It is just as possible that we are one of the oldest so far? Since our universe is only 5 billion years old? Our universe is a young teenager! So it's possible that we might eventually be that advanced alien life force that visits another younger planet in the future. Hows that for a open mind ;)

The way I try to base my assumptions on UFOs is not the current trend, I tend to follow with the past. With our notes on inventions and man-made aircrafts, dates prior to these creations that are within well questionable time, ie. say 1AD to 1500AD where we know there was no such thing as something on earth that could fly from human invention.

The only problem is; like I've said in my logic approach, the artists might have been imagining things or mistook it for something else. This I can't argue with, and neither can anyone else do so because there is no credibility to establish what the real painter saw since they are no longer walking among us to date.

It is hard to argue or refute with historical evidence, if the information given on them is accurate. Carbon based testings to denote when they were created, inability to steal the actual and modify the paintings - the only true skepticism of the paintings is that they could've been altered the way we are seeing it, if not in first person at the actual site.

I completely agree with this fact that our planet is like a kid compared to what can be out there. A perfect modern day example is like USA vs China as a country. The US is only 232 years old, China is like thousands of years old, noting from evidence provided in many alternate forms. The US is a lot more advanced than China at current, but the Chinese have a lot of history and development from ancient scratch to what's around with them today.
 
Another possibility which could be discussed is are we being visited by advanced beings from the future from our own planet? This would solve a number of problems involved with deep space travel but also open up the issue of time travel and all of the problems associated with that. Still I consider this as possible as being visited by an alien being from another world. I still dismiss both about equally but might give time travel a hair line lead :)

I don't think you can call it "ignorance" since the majority of the information is bits and pieces here and there from what I consider non-credible sources. If a person in authority, currently employed by the government, confirms what's been speculation for so many years, then I'd believe it.

I'd rather be thought ignorant than swallow some spoon-fed pablum people want me to believe.
 
That same spoon-fed pablum is the "weather balloon" nonsense that NASA has been feeding the general public for decades.
 
That's the pablum I'm talking about that I won't swallow! Until someone comes up with some evidence that I can believe, like a photo or film that isn't jerky or grainy, I'll remain skeptical. :cool2:

UFO's are nonsense, it's amazing how easy it is to fool so many people, don't get me wrong, I 100% believe there's life out there, but it hasn't visited us for sure.
but hey why not? it sells books and mags to numptys who have nothing better to do with their time.

have you seen the weirdos who claim to have been abducted? don't you think if they ahve the intelligence and took the time to travel the galaxy to get here, they wouldn't select a better class of humanoid to do tests on:lol:not some crazy hilly billies, who can barely be understood by us let alone make any sense to them.
