transmitting coil cochlear implant

The annoying part of headpieces is they don't behave like most objects when falling.. they will literally arc towards metal and attach to the nearest metal surface. It makes the usual process of trying to find a lost object a LOT stranger.

For AB, the internal device is waranted for 10 years for any reason of failure, the processor is warranted for a year, the headpieces are warranted for a year, batteries are warranted for 90 days and I am not sure about the microphones.

FWIW, none of my equipment has failed other than an optional accessory (a T-Comm, and that was within 2 weeks of receiving it) and the replacement process was painless. The replacement T-Comm as well as everything else has been working flawlessly for a little over a year now.

I think T-Mics have a 90 day warranty? something like that. I'm still using the same original Tmics that came with my Harmony in April 2012. I did order a new one ready to go should one of the others fail at some point down the line, and ordered 2 of the standard size batteries for the Harmony as well (Medicare will buy up to 4 new batteries per year, good to know!). I did kill a headpiece 2 or 3 weeks after being activated, whoops. But AB replaced it under warranty, and since then I've been more careful with the UHPs. fun times!
