Transgender students

It great shame on society that it an issue.I going east europe soon and it hole in floor two foot plates and a chain to pull...It far healther and everyone use it.
Is it possible if issues are made of these things then you make it a problem...because my husband gay i fight for equal rights trans/bi/gay so having seperate loo for transgender maybe problematic

No, I used to live there, but I'm stuck in the south western part of Virginia now, not far from the borders of WV, KY, TN, NC.

Oh yes, southwestern part of VA is in bible belt.

I live in bible belt as well. :ugh:

I'm a lone Atheist in this place..lol People are kind of angry, misguided morons for the most part and I have stories. :/

Anyway, those who have rainbow flags on their car or outside their house here have courage and conviction I wish I had.

Thank you South for that detailed description of your bathroom functions! :laugh2:

It's a small community, but since they've got LGBT backing and the LGBT community is so large, things will change... eventually... :aw:

I doubt it......the percentage of true transexuals is very tiny...I have no beef with wanting to be the other sex.....but a) seems like some transsexual people are really fixtated on strict gender roles...it's like they seem not to understand that the problem is strict gender roles.....you don't have to identify as strictly male or female but you can be ANYTHING......gender is about socitial norms....maybe if gender roles were more flexiable TS people wouldn't be so preoccupied with male/female roles....but could just be who they ARE! b) the sugery is plastic surgery....it doesn't change your sex chromosomes or automaticly turn you male/female.......Besides,what about Kate Bornstien? She had SRS (m2f) and after that discovered that there was more to gender then a strict male/female binary.........The problem seems to be about people being fixtated on strict gender roles.......

I agree with this definitely, and I also have no issue with anyone wanting to be gay, straight, bi, M2W, W2M, Asexual, Trisexual, Pansexual or god knows whatever thing there is out there or they'll come out with... ( I do have an issue with people wanting to sleep with animals as they can't consent. " I do know a lot are stuck on the gender roll... Some do just want to be them. I agree the population is low, especially compared to gay community. But hell, everyone said gay's would never get married and the community was small once upon a time too, and now look we can get married! In some states... -_- Not enough... but it's changing. Call me an optimist, I believe everything good comes with time, and I believe on day they'll get their day. =)
