Train gone sorry?

What does train gone sorry literally mean? I've always thought it meant, you missed the boat or you missed it and I'm not repeating it. Is this right? also does anyone have a definition for 25-touch heart?
 
"train gone sorry" means that u missed the news or the topic. It is more for teasing each others. If signed with a critical-like expression then it means that person is saying "Too bad..u missed the topic."

"25" touch the heart means "feel sorry for" or as having sympathy for the person or situation.

Oh boy, I remmy that "train gone, sorry" during my high school years ago. I haven't said these words for long time...thank you for remind me. :giggle:
 
Yeah a friend playing around did that to me once. I told them to put the train in reverse and tell me anyway! LOL

LOL I haven't use that sign for a while. Mostly used in high school and college. But will be using with my son soon, now that he is understanding Deaf idioms better. (He is 6) :)

I hate it when people do that to me though. It's like saying... "Oh, you missed what I said? Too bad!" *walks away*

has anyone heard of finish dry hotdog?:ty:

I still use that word as tease.. but if they say that to you if you are driver and they ride your car. You can ask , "hey, who bought the ticket to get on train?" get it? heh

More like missed conversation, but I could see how your phrase could work. But mostly related to the topic they missed.. :)

hehe, I have seen many times those signs in my deaf school :D

I live in Severn near Columbia. I didnt grow up in MD..grew up in AZ and moved to MD to go to Gally and since then I ended up staying. :) I love B-more.

If intended to be rude, yes it can be a very rude phrase to use but sometimes my friends like to tease me or each other with that phrase. We dont really use it that much anyway.

It's like saying "nevermind, it's not important"...I really hate that. It makes me feel like I don't matter to them.
 
I remember that back in the old days when I was in high school, I haven't seen anyone use it so far, I don't even consider it rude, I think it's funny when I missed a conversation and my friend would asked me were you paying attention to me, I'm like sorry no what was it? My friend would say too bad the train just went by, I would end up laughing about it. It's a cute phrase. Lol!

I think some people take that personal, I mean come on it's a silly phrase, there's nothing to take to heart. It's a joke that deaf people uses when nobody is really paying attention, who's fault is that? It's yours for not paying attention. :whistle:
