A friend of mine posted this photo on his FB page claiming it was the tornado that touched down in Paulding County, GA last Friday night.
How far from you is that? Eerie but fascinating photo, though....
2012!

WARNING: I am about to burst your doomsday bubble for all you doomsdayers out there--
There have been about 514 Leap Years since Caesar created it in 45BC. With the extra day every four years, today would be July 28, 2013. Also, Mayan calendar did not account for Leap Year... So technically, the world should have ended seven months ago.

Indiana was hard hit, too. We were driving in Kentucky and Indiana on Friday, and just missed a tornado, or maybe one just missed us, I don't know.
Karissa, I don't really believe in the Mayan calendar stuff, no matter when the 'correct' date is supposed to be.

Are you sure it is not photoshopped?
It is volcanic lightning and the picture belongs to National Geographic - it is not a tornado. Here is the link:

here is another image from that link:
Oh, wow. It took place in Chile. I didn't know Chile has a volcano. That's something new for me to learn.
Ok ... I google goggled the image I posted and it is NOT a tornado - my friend was just kidding with me. As embarrassing as it is, I just wanted to clear this up now.
It was a volcanic eruption and the picture belongs to National Geographic. Sorry about that.
Oh, well. It is still a stunning picture.
