Top 10 US cities people are moving to

I moved to Fort Worth, which is close to Dallas. I'm ordering some online CEUs, prenatal and hot stone I can get for super cheap through work, and sports massage, which will cost a lot lot more. But once I get them completed in the next month or so I'm going to start looking for a new job, and Dallas might be where I end up working. It will be nasty traffic for awhile though :/ but when I move out of my parents I can just move closer. We'll see. A lot of the towns right around here are growing rapidly.

Now Seatle, that would be nice. I lived in Washington state from 86-89. It's so gorgeous and sooooo many things to go do and see.

I would love to move to Seattle- hoping to one day. Not surprised at Phoenix. I lived there (well Mesa...) for a short time and Phoenix was just starting to boom big in IT back then in 2007. Can only imagine what it's like now there and in Mesa & Tempe.

*sigh* they forgot to put the town i live in. I even see people jumping the border so desperstly to live here.

:laugh2: I will set the Florida border on fire to prevent that move...

but let me in before you set the Florida border.

Don't forget to let Mark and his friend, Derek come in. *joke* :D

Well... DFW is top most happiest city.

Plan to go to Seattle next month for a family visit. If you plan to live in Seattle, you definitely want to buy a gas generator. Blackouts last a couple of days during the winter. I remember my brother and his family had to stay over at his in laws' 'cause his house had no power for a week. Insane. Mountains are so beautiful.

Lived in Dallas for five years. It is very clean. I miss IN-N-OUT. Fort Worth has been trying to clean up their streets and try to look cool to beat Dallas. No mountains. Complete flat. Boooooooring. I love hiking. If you like to shop, go to Frisco and Mckinney.

I wouldn't want to live in Vegas. Too dry. Grew up visiting Vegas all the time for hiking, gambling, and shows.

Lived in Phoenix. Extremely dry. Had to buy lotions all the time. I like monsoons during the summers. There are lots of things to do in Phx like going to watch those sport games. National Parks are awesome. Totally recommend.

Why Chicago is listed as 8th?

I should replace Chicago with Portland, OR.

Adventure. This city never sleeps, and there's always something happening. Never a dull moment here. You want to replace that with a volcano, be my guest.

Hiking? Marion Sansom Park at Lake Worth (northwest of Fort Worth) is a great place to hiking, it goes up to 100 feet. Plus they have natural waterfall.

Shop? There are amazing shopping at Mockingbird Station area and Uptown at west Village in Dallas. Epic experience. You don't get enough to see everything in Dallas. :(

Portland is great - less snow/icy, longer bike season, fun rock climbing, hiking and more opportunities. Volcanoes haven't been active for many years and just stay away from volcano so you will be fine.

I want to take you and your best friend Derek to Portland and Seattle, also there are two bikes for you. :D

I have been to Mockingbird Station and Uptown areas many times.

I love Kuby's Sausage Restaurant. I'm half German, and eat those German meals all the time. Love their liverwurst. Kraut's soo good.

The art district is nice. I like that the Museum of Art at Dallas offer free general admission. It's not compared to those art districts in California. I'm biased.

Two months ago, I went to The George W. Bush presidential museum by SMU.

100 feet is nothing. Give me 3,000 feet and a clean of air. Sorry. I'm still deprived of it. Can't wait to see those mountains in California and Washington next month.

I don't mind to go there again.
