Why is this news today? Is the number 53 significant?
I wasn't born yet during this time. Growing up the Kennedy's were always on media like tv, magazines and newspapers. I remember, my parents talking how this was an era no one will ever forget.JFK was not the President that my family chose but once he was in office they supported him. We were all very upset at his assassination. It was a very traumatic time for our nation.
It's hard to believe it was so long ago. I remember when it happened and the days of mourning that followed. We watched all that news and the funeral on our black and white TV. It was very sad.
I hope our nation never experiences that again.

Growing up I was a huge Marilyn Monroe fan. I read biographies on her. I know the cause of death was suicide. My opinion, the Kennedy's were behind it. It's not proven just my speculation.

Bobby Kennedy and his brother in law Peter Lawford where both reported to be in Monroe's house the night of her death looking for her " little red book" that contained all the details of her affairs with JFK and RFK. Politics is a dirty business and politicians will do almost anything to protect their image and if they have to commit murder to do it, so be it.

I also heard MM was having affair with JFK and RFK and they had something to do with her death , we'll really never know what happen . It was very tragic about Monroe b/c she had such a hard life. I read that she was a lot smarter than people gave her credit for. I agree politics is a very dirty business . I heard that RFK told Monroe some info that she should never known about too and this was also why she was killed. The crime scene sound way too sage , I don't think someone is going to set their pills bottles neatly when committing suicide or be found lying in bed the way MM was found.
I don't think I have read this report about MM death before , I guess now that everyone involved with this is dead more info is being made public. I really like her in River of No return. Her arms were at her sides too and to me that looked likes people held her arms down while dumping the pills down her mouth. I wonder if there was any marks on her arms and wrists .True, the pill bottles would be knocked over or on the floor not nice neatly during a suicide.
The killed her because she knew too much and keep the Kennedy family reputation clean.

Same here but I like Robert Mitchum , he was in River of No Return too. Tennessee Ernie Ford sang the song and I love his voice.I enjoyed most of her movies like the Seven Year itch and Some Like it Hot.

I agree , her death was a cover up.I've never heard that MM was a neat freak, so neatly placing the pill bottles on the nightstand doesn't make sense when someone is committing suicide. The same goes for the three spent cartridges placed in a row in the "snipers nest" in the SBD. If it looks out of ordinary than it probably is.
