I have always known this thats why I dont buy any of that at the gas stations but walmart as lot of people buy it from there so obiviously it is fresh. :)

It looks nasty but why does she keep saying "honey"? Since when Hersey's bar is honey?

I love Hershey Bar, nothing can stop me.
Have you tasted maggots with chocolate, perhaps it is so delicious than wedding cake?

The sign language for Hershey and honey are similar. Don't ask me why... I've seen it signed that way. For myself, I simply spell it out.

Hmm... the video seems too long just to explain something simple. She kept repeating "small store", "gas station", and "7-Eleven" over and over. She also kept repeating "Hershey" and "email" as well.

Either she's trying to get attention by exaggerating and making her video long or she's afraid to simply type up a normal blog.

Overall, the issue isn't about candy bars being sold beyond their expiration date... the issue is about people not taking to time to look at the candies (or anything edible) that they buy.

When I go to stores, I always check the expiration date on the stuff I buy. Canned goods and cereals last a very long time. Dairy products and meat last a short time. Candies vary on the type and brand.

A good food shopper will check the expiration date before buying the goods.

Remember, these stores have thousands of products to check. They don't have time to check every single product. They do the best they can. If you see a product that has expired, simply point it out to the manager so that it can be dealt with immediately.

Oh, this thing only happens at convenience stores? Wrong. It also happens at grocery stores and vending machines. I've actually seen expired soda and candy bars at grocery stores before. I even found them at video rental places like Blockbuster Video and Hollywood Video.

As for the person making the video, what I would have done would be to simply say... "When you buy candy bars, make sure they haven't expired. If they did, let the manager know."

Hint. Usually, the freshest/newest candy and snacks are the ones in the checkout area in the back; the oldest candy/snacks are usually in the front where the speedy checkouts are...because they usually sell faster there, and there are more people that use those lines.

A little hint I learned from the old days when I worked in a store...:)

Oh wow, I don't like Hershey's Bar so much.

I'm big fan of Dove candies, it's same companies that made sweet M&M candies.

Plus, for out of date, employees are suppose to look at date, pull out of date out or they will be fined with over of thousands dollars.

Omg,I do love dark chocolate, but also enjoy a nice piece of milk chocolate! :)
