Titanic

In my opinion, I don't think they accept any Deaf to emigrate overseas. Perhaps an deaf infant of hearing parents, yes, but Deaf Adult - I don't think so.

I am getting the impression about the 18th Century, they don't think high of Deaf People, as they are not allowed to buy houses, landowners, they are put in asylum, go figure!

To give any Deaf Adults a ticket of Freedom to the New World???? I hope I am wrong about this one.
 
Speaking about Titanic, my grandfather were booked to go on Titanic when he was 18 years old but he found an earlier ship that goes to Australia from England and went on that one to immigrate to Australia to start a new life here. Whew! He was lucky. My mother, my sibs and me wouldn't be here if he did go on Titanic.

Interesting, at first he was thinking of start a new life in Canada, but changed his mind and chose Australia instead!

Yea your family dodged the bullet. But on the other hand, your family wld be famous if they were on titanic Ofc it s better to be alive than being dead and being immortal in people s mind.
 
I forgot about the Titanic. April 15th was my Birthday.. and than the 16th was the Virgina Tech & than the 20th was 4/20. National Holiday and all this other crap!
