Indeed, some web cam won't work for Windows XP. I used to own Intel Camera Pro and decide to gave to my big brother who own Windows XP and found download from intel.com for update new software to use in Windows XP native. It turn out that installer doesn't work well. Then he decide to make aggressive to reformat whole thing and fix the hardware change, I dunno he did while I was busy by play around with my laptop. After finish install Windows and install intel's software for web cam. Volia, it work. *gasp*

Sound lot of work, eh?

Lol, Intel camera pro does working on windows Xp. I have as same as yoru brother's.

For enterlity, yeah some webcams can compatblie with windows xp If not but check to find out if there is upgrade driver for yoru webcam. if not and then its over :(

Just look for jumper so you can make the hard drive into slave drive. Then connect it with ide interface cable, make sure other drive on same cable is in master mode since some drive have a setting as single drive.

I tried so many things to get it works.. Unfortunately I dun have a CD for that. I left it behind (back in california)

This picture which I took the computer apart... put a hd in there from other computer to get a program out there.. but it seems too impossible.. so..even tho i put a PCI card in there... Ha i know its under COMPUTER stuff (forum) so..

Now I understand you.

You're saying that you left the CD (with the webcam's driver) back at california.

You took a picture to get help on how to hook up your second hard drive (from the old computer) so you can transfer the webcam drivers from the old hard drive to your new hard drive.

Just take a picture of your web cam then I can help you get it working on your new computer. :D

Umm... since i bought this new computer WinXP, my webcam is only come with win98 or older...
so i download to www (webcam) brand name.. and it have upgrade.. now its working.. :)
