As many of you who know me, I am hearing, and in my recollection, I've never experienced trouble with this sense. But as of late, I've noticed many sounds aren't balanced. Such as when listening to music, or talking on the phone. Today, I was listening to music with headphones, and the sound was slighty, but noticably balanced to my right. This leads me to believe I'm having difficulty with hearing in my left ear. Its miniscule, but still enough to make me worry. Certainly there'd be someone here with some advice. I'd guess I should see an audiologist, but is this something to worry about? Are there such cases of temporary, small hearing loss?

Have you gone to see hearin' test doctor to check about your left ear ? Maybe, the doctor will be able to help you with this issue.

Yeah, I agree with Cyber Red.. you can also go to your audiologist and see what's going on! :scatter:

maybe u have ear infections?? or just water in your ear.. so that can affect your hearing.. who knows..

First, I want to determine if it is something to worry about. I don't even know how long its been happening. I suspected something when one of my computer speakers seemed louder, but I've found that to be the case with everything.

I don't think it could be water or an ear infection. I've had both before (the latter several times), and this is not like either of those. I would feel it, but I don't feel anything different. Just less noise.

Congratulations—you're going deaf! Welcome to the monkey house. :thumb: This, BTW, is the monkey. For some reason I can't log out of my wife's account on MSN. :squint:

Watch it, Monkey....erh... girl. I'm not going deaf. I'm just looking for a possible explanation of my unbalanced hearing.

Relax, go to the audiologist and when he or she says
there something then you can start worrying.

Other than that, no sense is getting yourself worked up
until you find out the end result.

Because you could be stressin yourself out all for nothing.
