Seriously? Just one year in jail for a heroin user? Totally BS. There were some cases where a man got sentenced to 50 years in prison for stealing music and movies to spread it online and the other man who killed, raped, and burned women was sentenced 20 years in prison. How fucked up is that?

This is just a sad commentary of how screwed up our laws are - Stealing music is something corporations who make money off of them particularly don't want people even thinking about, hence their money perverted the law towards their own ends. And the politics of the war on drugs supposedly throws some individuals in jail for longer than if they if had murdered people. Where's the sense of that? Wasn't murder supposed to be the ultimate no, no under law. Well, I guess it isn't, now a days because the law is slowly devaluing human life in favor of other things...
