The World's Coolest Bus Stops

They are very interesting and cool looking!

And I can imagine Dubai being able to afford having an air conditioned bus stop considering their citizens are loaded.

Cool bus stop places, and also I saw a "House" bus stop in minneapolis looks nice and also "hospital" bus stop at Hennepin County hospital it's a hospital logo with 4 hands and white cross beside hands.

Also Light rail station have some arts and colorful shape shelters.

Interesting bus stop styles! We have lot of cool artwork sculptures, etc. at the light rail stations here in Seattle. :) The bus stops here are mostly standard looking but some have painted artwork on it.

Boy, whoever thought these up... had too much free time on their hands.

;)

I never quite paid attention to those but I think here they are pretty much the same everywhere :giggle: I wouldn't mind the bus stop with the TV set, etc... ;)

Wow.. cool!
I like the first one better!
Thanks for sharing this with us, Jolie77! :)

Those are really cute bus stops :)

I like a bus stop with a touchscreen monitor, an audio announcer for the visual impairment, a couple of solar panels in the roof of the bus stop, and some OLED-based lighting.

It'd be nice to have a bus stop with an advanced notification system. At worst case, if I'm 30 seconds away from the bus stop, the strobe light can flash from about 5 feet away for telling me to hurry up. But it's better to be at a bus stop 5 to 10 minutes early.

From my apartment, it takes about 5 minutes for me to walk to the front gate, 5 minutes to walk to the street, and 2 minutes to get to a bus stop. It is very far away, unfortunately.

I'd like to wait at

Sound great..

Also in Minneapolis's downtown still under construction for new wider bus lanes (2 lanes for buses only), they would have new NexTrip message display for how bus is coming and audio button for blind. newly designed bus stop signs with bay letters for example bus line 675 would be at bay B stop area and bus line 460 would be at bay C.

The only bus stops Ive been at are the ones with a tiny bench and a small roof over it. Not much shelter from the elements.
