As depressing as the photo-essay is it's important to look at. This is just a very tiny fraction of whats going on around the world with those living at or just below the poverty level.

In my mind we can fix this... not with Save The Children funds or Feed The World or whatever charitable organizations there are... but by simply being decent human beings and really digging in our pockets for the children like those in the picture here at home or where-ever we live.
This is what world governments should work on to better the lives of their people in their respective countries.
One wonders how many of these children are Deaf living in conditions like these?
