Tomorrow night is the mid season finale...predictions? I predict either Carole or Beth don't make it out...that the hospital rescue fails and either one of them dies or they both do. Of course the writers could throw us all off and they might kill Carl instead....

Season 3, I believe, she made a very dramatic entrance to the story and befriends Andrea way before she meets Rick and the group. Edit to add, she's officially cast on The Walking Dead in Season 3, but her first brief appearance is "Beside the Dying Fire" which is the last episode of Season 2.

OK ! I thought that was a Black woman that killed the WD just about to kill Andrea in the last episode of season two . I am watching this on my daughter
DVD so I am only up the end of season 2 . I do not get it on TV. I only have basic cable which is crap. I wish we could pick out the channels we want . I rally hate paying for channels I never watch.

She is the lady with the sword (and the two zombie escorts) and she's a powerhouse. Rick at first doesn't trust her but she proves to be a very strong new addition to the group.

I am betting Beth doesn't make it.. I've noticed that hardly anyone else has mentioned Beth at all- especially her own SISTER...

but then.. they've tossed curveballs before. The fans will not be happy if Carol doesn't make it...
 
A lot of people have brought up that Beth's sister hasn't mentioned her but that could be because she believes she's dead. I'm not sure that the character of Beth is really strong or that popular so I wouldn't be overwhelmed if she left the series.

I just got to part with the jail and the guy that had white hair and was a vet was killed :(

I thought the mid season finale went well and I'm glad it was a character that I believe didn't really add anything to the story overall. Now I wonder when they're going to kill off the Pastor now that he's responsible for them looking for new shelter.

Yes will be interesting to see how the group reacts to what Gabriel did when the group returns from the hospital. Agree that while I liked Beth she was pretty much expendable even though she was the one who tended to Judith most of the time and more or less took care of the 'house' (aka prison or wherever they were living).

I wonder if any of the hospital group (aside from Noah) will join Rick's group or not. They don't seem to want to leave though.

I think there will be people willing to leave the hospital. Watching how the guards behaved, I'm sure they're scared. Leaving with Rick would be far better than staying where they are - and seeing how Rick stood his ground and refused to hand over Noah, it probably looked more favorable to them than staying with bullies.

Edit to add on the second viewing, Noah does in fact leave with them.

It'll be interesting when the show returns because they're talking about how the characters will change. I suspect that people will decide to go their own way deal with their grief and to try it alone. I hope that's not the case. It'd be much more watchable if they stay together and deal with the reality of DC not happening.

I'm also curious if we've really seen the end of the hospital drama....
