The Simpsons where in?

It's a running joke on the show. You are not supposed to know which state. It's a mystery that will likely never be answered. In many episodes, the writers have toyed with the audience. In one episode I recall, Marge was talking on the phone, giving out her address and she said "Springfield, Oh Maggy, you're walking!"

So don't worry about where it is. You're not supposed to know. Just enjoy the show.

Its a fake city made up for the show. I dont take its location seriously becuz its always moving around--from the shining sea to the tall mountains. The name springfield is real but the city is not. Fun show tho.

What abt Moe's Tavern? Cuz I went to DC Nats game last friday and saw one boy worn Moe's Tavern softball team club shirt, so must be somewhere in USA, I guess I should research which state Moe's Tavern is in then thats one? But, I dont undy why Family Guy for sure in RI, South Park for sure in Colorado, while The Simpsons look like nowhere of USA

It probably in Colorado.

No, that's South Park.

I'd go with Springfield, Illinois, but the precise location of the Simpsons' residence shall remain a mystery for as long as we live. Unless you're best friends with Matt Groening.

It can't be California, because then Homer would lose his job at the power plant after it's shut down by environmental activists and Lisa would find more support for her progressive politics and vegetarian lifestyle.
