I watched this and a couple of her other songs. She is really, really talented. That is REAL ASL. She throws in an initiated sign here and there, but she really knows how to represent the lyrics of the song visually, not just re-code the words manually. Very impressive!

That video looks impressive even though I am BSL not ASL user. Her face very expressive, lot of hearing people struggle with that. There lots of movement too. Some hearing signers are bit stiff.

this is my favorite song signer.. i think hes pretty awesome.. even my deaf bf was like "what? hes hearing?"


but back to that stupid "fuck you" video... at least 5 of my friends sent that to me on FB thinking i would think it was so awesome. i was like.. uhh.. did she really sign baby like that? haha. the more ASL i learn, the more i am beginning to hate SEE. o.O

REALLY?? I do not know how to read sign language , the only part I got was 'Fuck you'! I tried to watch it 2x and had to stop . It did nothing for me.

Interesting... I understand her song.

I can hear the song but I am not able to understand what being sung! I did like the sound of the music , I only wish I knew what the words are! I need

Ok...

I watched the "Fuck You" video, 1st without sound and then with, I got it either way. However, I didnt put that tune to the movements. Makes me wonder what "tune" other people think of.
When you do ASL classes and you are just learning they dont teach you how to interpret the song from lyrics to ASL, so you sign every word...right?

Also, I really like the Grenade video, I watch her alot. She is graduating from college majoring in ASL. As someone posted from her bio.
