I think (not speaking for Reba in any way, just offering a possible explanation for the animal/human disagreement) that the majority of us in this thread are defining 'animal' as any member of the Kingdom Animalia (scientific definition) and Reba is defining animal as any living thing that is not human (religious definition based on the idea that God created humans in his own likeness)?

Yet it's "insulting" to be lumped into the same category as that of a dog. You don't have much respect for life of all created by God.

Life is the most amazing miracle of Earth, and people shouldn't be offended to be a part of the same kingdom as the others. In fact, they should be honoured after everything they have done to destroy many's natural habitats.

They are evil. Not all mentally ill people are evil; they don't all cause harm to others. Not all evil people are mentally ill; they can cause harm to others in perfectly sane ways.
