Well, sugar is not reason we got trouble. It is hydrogenated oil, our govt should banned hydrogenated oil but guess who is losing business? Food industrials, our govt depend on them for tax. They won't do anything about it.

No... we need have some sugar in body, if low or almost no sugar then you will get serious problem, also it called "sugar blood".

I feel much better than when I was kids but become adult is more feel good for me.

I already accept my deafness long ago and I just like who I am, is all.

Er...that is not quite true. The food industries are very sensitive to the finicky mood of their customers. They are persuaded when consumers want or demand alternatives. Yea, it takes a little while but they do it. Just think when the Atkins diet (Low Carbs) was all the rage. Restaurants were switching to it on their menus to capitalize on the demand.

You can get non-hydrogenated oil and the fast food companies have picked up on that and even announcing they use the stuff.

I do agree that the gov't tends to sort of get stuck and let the consumers and industries sort it all out.

Yes Im scared cause its Robotic Sounds not like the way i heard it before.Thats what the doctor told me.The only hope is in november to put the democrats in charge and give mr bush the boot right out of the white house.

I know that you won't hear the exactly same same way with CIs like a hearing person would hear. BUT...it's better than not hearing ANYTHING at all. And from what I understand, you can even enjoy music and stuff like that. Think about it. I have always been aware of this and still want a CI.

Thats not what the doctor Told me.He said Music is very differant and you wouldnt heard it like its supposed to sound.
 
As long as you pick right foods then you will not have problems.

Many young people eat wrong foods a lot and then later they got problem with their health when they are older.
 
You mean when a BTE user like me hears music then gets a CI then the quality of the music sounds much better, more clear with a CI than the BTE ?

Both of them are none unless you are HoH and get good benefits with HA then music will be more understand.

Buckdodgers...Well, there are children that are sick, also you have forgotten millions of children are starving worldwide, have diseases, etc. Have you ever heard of Children's hospital? That is what the hospitals are for, take care of children who are sick and need help. It's not the same as regular hospital.

The average age for a human was only 20 or so at about 2000 BC to 1000 AD or so, I think. That's very short lifespan due to being overworked, no knowledge about health issues and much more. The current average lifespan in the United States (lastest statistics) 75 years old. It could be a bit less now due to obesity and other factors.
 
Buck, Let me tell ya. There are so many children I have seen or heard are so sick that the parents are trying to save their kids life.

I have 2 nephew who have diabetics type 2. But one of them do have CF *Cystic Fibrous* sp??. He had to be on the medication every day and being in hospital at least 2 times a year. Do you think that children deserved to be suffere like that?? I think not.

I had a heart condition all my life and had 2 major surgery and praying will never again. But if I do then I would go for it for the sake of my son. He need me the most.

I do have asthma started back in 1999 and I still do have it. Of course I hated it.

Just have to live your life to the fullest and be happy that you are alive.
