oh liebling... the good ole' gun debate. I miss her too. I think she just popped in a month ago or so. only one post though.

I think I remember you had debated with her about McCain versus Obama, too. Correct?

Also, I just happen to remember whitetiger (something username?) AD'er always post funnier jokes in the section. I enjoy her humor threads.

Ah, yeah, I well remember Miss-Detectable used to post Deaf-related articles in Deaf News. I wonder, how she is doing... :)

Five? I recall the Notorious Ones Who Can't Be Named (although we all know who they are)
They are still as insane as ever......and thank Maude a lot of other parents now see it too(though another medium)

Some of them are in another online group attacking other parents of deaf and hh children for supporting ASL. It is unbelievable!

The good news is, that many of the OTHER parents in that group think they're crazy/extreme too......I can very easily break down their problems....
One of them just totally flipped out and went nuts simply b/c of ONE little problem....she also assumed that ALL Deaf schools had that problem (and IMHO, it was due to poor resources) It's really sad. I do predict that she might flip out again due to something not being exactly perfect....
The other one just cannot believe its not still 1988 and is SUPER defensive about his choice.....he also tries to make it sound like every single oral kid is a high acheiver.......jeez, there were high acheivers in the 50's...doesn't mean they're not the norm........I do think all of the Notorious Ones have some sort of strange personailty disorder or have other major issues.

Very funny Frisky Feline to bring up that hilarious wedge by Shel90's hubby at the NYC meet.

Anyway back to topic, I'll have to say that, brydie's fake death and I must mention, I was the first person (along with Shel90) who saw brydie's angry post before shit hit the fan, it was so crazy. I wasted my time writing a wonderful poem, do anyone remember this? Everyone here loved it.

Definitely the AD meet in NYC, I never will forget, and I do miss most of you guys, since it has been actually exactly 4 years ago since the AD meet. I am overdue for another visit, I know.....

Despite my 8 years here, I remember 07/07/2007 wedding as well.

Yeah, I well remember your poem. I still love it! :) I also remember someone said you can use your old poem to honor another fallen AD'ers instead. I think it's Botti? Right, Botti? Or, was it someone else? :dunno:
 
I think if Mark lost his virginity that would be exciting for him and we could take him out for a beer to celebrate!!! :D
