Well I logged into FB a few minutes ago then logged off but when I logged off it went to a screen fill of different movies and one caught my attention I had to take a second look ... "Jiro Dreams of Sushi"

Last night-HarbourFront- had Dancing on the Pier. Real Cochlear Implant exercise to a live
Latin American band. Next date: Thursday-13 more to go!
 
Saw a Deaf group at the fireworks last night. At some point I noticed one if my ASL instructors with them. Glad he didn't see me and come to talk. I really need to practice. :o
 
Cleaning the house day today to get ready for my mom's arrival tmw! Maybe will go to the nearby beach in the afternoon. Or just sit in the kiddie pool in my backyard. Not sure.

The dog is calmer , he was not a happy camper during fireworks. The PD don't do anything in a firework banned area.
 
Why PD can't do anything? Simply, the number of people holding fireworks outnumbers PD staffing so should they worry about somebody holding fireworks or somebody breaking and trying to kill somebody?

I know, they don't see banned fireworks here is no big deal , oh well

Its not really the PD's end of thing unless something gets out of hand the fire marshal's office usually takes care of illegal burns and fire related incidents. But like was said theres just so many it would be impossible to track them all. Only citations I've heard of given out was when fireworks started a fire.

The dog was upset and I felt bad for him. He was hiding behind me and going nuts.

My dog was too last night when people set off firecrackers in the neighborhood. Awww...poor thing.

Awwww poor dog. I don't like to see them upset. Funny , the cat can careless, he was just lounging around as if nothing happened lol Most cats are scared they run and hide but not this one.
 
We still have people shooting off the fireworks around here. Police have been out there, but nothing is done.
 
At a Pep Boys car center getting my tires replaced. I was shown balding tires from the front of the vehicle, opted to get them all replaced, plus a slightly early oil change! Got a nice discount but I'm still out a few hundred bucks! :ugh:
